When governors attend Groups created by the Local Authority on behalf of The Devon Association of Governors (DAG) we ask that they adopt DAG Associate Board status.
This enables members to be supported in their role and kept up to date with the latest information. In return, DAG asks that their associate members attend a minimum of one Board meeting a year with the addition of an Away Day which is held in the autumn and one of the DAG half day conferences.
DAG Board meeting are held termly at the County Hall in Exeter from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm.
DAG will ensure that Associate Board Members are kept up to date with information and events by regular e-newsletters and email circulations throughout the year.
DAG asks that the Board Associates attending their group or sub-committee provide feedback to the Board via the DAG clerk on the matters discussed after each meeting they attend. This does not need to be full minutes; just “highlights” and DAG will provide the form to be used.
